The war in 1948

In the war in 1948, the settlement was not harmed thanks to its relations with the residents of Zichron Ya'akov, Binyamina and the surrounding area, whose agricultural lifestyle depended on Arab workers from the nearby villages of Jessar and Fouridis, and therefore insisted on staying in these settlements, despite repeated offers by the army to evacuate them. Following the war, refugees arrived in the village from nearby villages that were destroyed.
