1969 - Opening of road 2 to traffic

In 1969, road 2 (coastal road) was opened for traffic in the section between Hadera and Haifa, the road was paved on about 300 dunams from the lands of Jessar Al-Zarka and blocked the settlement towards the Carmel ridge. Entry to the settlement was possible only through a narrow underground passage under road 2
